Orthodontic Treatments We Offer

At Boston Orthodontics, we offer a variety of treatment options to choose from, depending on your specific case and needs. Our orthodontic treatments include:

Invisalign

Invisalign is a modern and discreet alternative to fixed braces that uses a series of clear aligners to gently move your teeth into the desired position. Each set of aligners is custom-made to fit comfortably over your teeth and can be removed for eating, brushing, or social occasions. This makes Invisalign one of the most popular options for adults and teens seeking a subtle and flexible treatment.

Fixed Braces

Fixed braces remain one of the most effective orthodontic solutions for correcting a wide variety of dental issues. These include overcrowding, spacing, and misaligned bites. A set of fixed braces consists of brackets that are attached to each tooth, which are then connected by a wire that gradually shifts the teeth into alignment.

Early Treatment

Early treatment focuses on addressing developing dental and jaw issues in younger children (typically between the ages of 7 and 11). By identifying and correcting problems early – whether it’s a crossbite, crowding, or jaw growth discrepancies, we can reduce the need for more complex treatments later in life while creating space for adult teeth to emerge properly.

What to Expect at Our London Orthodontic Clinic

Every orthodontic journey is exciting and unique. Here is a brief overview of what your orthodontic journey will look like with us, step-by-step:

Initial Consultation

It all starts with a visit to our clinic in Belgravia where you and Dr. Keser will meet face to face for a consultation. During this time, Dr. Keser will walk you through your treatment options and answer any questions you might have.

This is also when Dr. Keser will carry out a thorough assessment of your teeth, bite, and overall oral health.

Acceptance of Treatment and Finance Options

Following your consultation, Dr. Keser, will personally prepare a bespoke treatment plan for your particular case and will walk you through the different payment options available.

If you’ve agreed to a payment plan and are happy with everything, all that is left to do is complete our consent process.

Begin Your Treatment

Depending on your tailored treatment plan, this stage of the process may look different from patient to patient. If you’ve opted for braces, you’ll come to our clinic to have your braces fitted. If your treatment plan involves Invisalign, you’ll come to the clinic to have your first set of aligners fitted. You’ll also be shown how to safely pop them out when you need to.

Monitor Your Progress

Once your Invisalign aligners or braces have been fitted, it’s a matter of time before you get your dream smile. Depending on your orthodontic treatment, you may need to come to our clinic every so often for routine check-ups and adjustments.

Reveal Your New Smile

After months or years of commitment and regular check-ups, the big day is finally here. It’s time to remove your braces or Invisalign aligners and reveal your brand-new smile.

This is also when Dr. Keser will carry out one final assessment to ensure that your teeth and bite are perfectly aligned and everything has settled into place as planned. This is also when she’ll take your final photos so you can see your before and after results.

Retain Your Smile

While your active treatment may be complete, it’s essential to preserve your results for the long term. This is because teeth have a natural tendency to shift back to their original positions if not properly maintained. And that’s where retainers come in.

We will provide you with a custom-made retainer and detailed instructions on how and when to wear it. Whether it’s a discreet fixed retainer or a removable one, this final stage is crucial for preserving your new and beautifully straight smile for years to come.

The main difference between Invisalign and traditional braces lies in how they straighten your teeth.

Invisalign uses a series of clear and removable aligners that are custom-made to gradually move your teeth to the desired position. Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible when worn and can be taken out when eating, drinking, or attending a special occasion. This makes them a convenient and discreet option.

Braces, on the other hand, use a system of fixed brackets and wires that are attached to your teeth. They can be made from metal or clear ceramic materials. While braces are more visible compared to Invisalign, they are highly effective in treating more complex dental issues such as significant crowding, biting problems, and jaw alignment.

An orthodontic treatment can take anywhere from six months to two years (or more), depending on the type of treatment you choose and the complexity of your case.

For example, minor adjustments with Invisalign typically take anywhere from 6 to 12 months while more complex cases involving significant crowding or bite corrections can take upwards of 18 to 24 months.

Absolutely. Although most people have their teeth straightened during their teenage years and early 20s, it’s not uncommon for adults who want a straighter and healthier smile to seek orthodontic treatment later in life.

The most popular orthodontic treatment among adults is Invisalign. The reason for that is because Invisalign aligners are discreet, comfortable, and can fit easily into a busy lifestyle. The clear and removable aligners are virtually invisible when worn, which makes them very appealing to people who want to straighten their teeth without attracting too much attention.

No, you don’t need to get a referral from your dentist to come into our clinic. To book an orthodontic consultation with us, please visit our contact page and choose your preferred method of contact.

Yes, the NHS does cover some orthodontic treatments in London, however, patients usually need to meet a strict eligibility criteria before they are put on a waiting list, which is currently around 24 months (it can be even longer in high-demand areas).

At Boston Orthodontics, we don’t work with the NHS. Instead, we provide private orthodontic treatments to patients who either don’t qualify for an orthodontic treatment through the NHS, the NHS doesn’t cover the treatment they need, or they simply don’t want to wait several years to address their orthodontic issues.

If you’d like to see an orthodontist in London urgently, please give us a call on 07767 270 053 at your earliest convenience and a member of our team will do everything they can to arrange you an appointment with Dr. Keser as soon as possible.

Dr. Nina is exceptional. Her friendly and supportive nature made the entire experience pleasant and stress-free. She took the time to explain in detail what needed to be done and made sure I was comfortable with every step. Her gentle and caring approach ensured that even the cleaning was pain-free and surprisingly pleasant.

Truly fantastic experience! Every step of my Invisalign journey was professional, warm and very kind. I couldn’t recommend Dr Keser enough.

Victoria L.

Firstly the team is really assuring of any questions and worries I had about treatment. During the initial consultation, we went through all aspects of my teeth health, the structure and before and after.

Sana R.

Fortunately I found Elif on google and went for a visit she talked me through what the process would be, gave realistic time frames and put my mind at ease. During the process I was updated right the way through and Elif was on hand for any advice or guidance I required.

Aaron S.

My son’s teeth were an absolute jumbled mess at age 10 and his jaw appeared too small to hold all his adult teeth so - like his father - we thought he’d need his wisdom teeth removed.
